The Burmese / American Burmese is a breed or recognized breed variety associated with Myanmar / United States. Typical adult males are roughly 3.5–6 kg and females 3–5 kg, although lines and individual condition vary. Coat: short, close or dense coat. The breed is generally known for a social, intelligent and often vocal temperament. With appropriate care, lifespan is often around 14–18 years.
